Our Partners:

YEPP Italia

YEPP Italia APS was established on 24 September 2011 in collaboration and with the support of the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation with the aim of promoting and disseminating the YEPP approach and method in Italy.  It is based in Turin.
After having experimented with the YEPP international programme for 9 years, our passion for our work and our conviction that YEPP is an effective method to help young people take their lives into their own hands and have a voice in their local communities led us to found the association.
YEPP is a way of understanding youth policy and the role of young people in local communities. The key words are participation, autonomy, taking responsibility, empowerment, advocacy.
YEPP is an acronym (Youth Empowerment Partnership Programme) that focuses on youth empowerment at individual, group and community levels.
We bring to the territories a rigorous participatory methodology to empower young people to express their energies and capacities in local communities.
We propose differentiated paths such as: local sites, training, national and international planning.
YEPP’s Italian network is currently active in Piedmont, Liguria, Emilia Romagna, Basilicata and Calabria. It involves about 50 municipalities.
YEPP Italy is formed by a group of senior and junior professionals with different and multidisciplinary skills: planning, evaluation, participatory methodologies, community development, group leadership, building and developing networks and territorial partnerships, project management, media literacy, social research, training.
 Our vision
Yepp Italia aims to become a reference point for youth policies in Italy, imagining to build a society in which young people have an active role and decision-making power in the choices that affect local communities.
Our mission
Yepp Italia aims to disseminate and apply the principles of the Yepp methodology in Italy to empower young people to express their energies and skills in local communities.
